Skoraj vasko leto germ na morje na polotok Istro.Leži na obali Jadranskega morja. Lastita si jo Slovenija in Hrvaška, a so še vedno številni zapleti zaradi meje. Naj vam malo predstavim Istro! Glavni mesti sta Koper v Sloveniji in Pazin na Hrvaškem. Prebivalci govorijo istrsko narečje, ki je mešanica slovenščine,italijanščine in tudi malo hrvaščine. V Istri živi tudi italijanska manjšina. Uradni jeziki pa so slovenščina,hrvaščina in italijanščina. Zgodovinsko gledano je Istra slovenska pokrajina. Veliko prebivalcev živi na podeželju na kmetijah. Veliko je vinogradov,tam pridelujejo vino. Večinoma rdeče. Kar nekaj se jih tudi ukvarja z ribištvom. Zdi se mi, da je osel simbol Istre, saj jih je veliko! Slovenski del pa slovi predvsem po solinah! Sol se zdaj prideluje le še v manjšem delu solin. Ostale soline pa so sedaj park mednarodnega pomena, zaradi ogromnega števila ptičjih vrst, ki tu počivajo. Park je pod zaščito Ramsar-ja in mislim , da tudi Unesca. Slovenski del ima tudi najvišje klife na jadrandki obali, vendar je kljub temu veliko lepih plaž. Najlepša v Istri so zagotovo mesta. Od Kopra(SI),Pirana(SI),Portoroža(SI),Poreča(HR),Novigrada(HR) in Pulja(HR). Vendar so "biseri" tudi v notranjosti, večinoma so zgrajena na hribih. Istra je vredna ogleda.

Die Halbinsel Istrien ist der Ort wo ich fast jedes Jahr zu dem Meer fahre. Es gehoert zu Slowenien und Kroatien. Aber trotzdem sind da viele Konflikte wegen der Grenze. Ich werde ihnen jetzt Istrien ein Bischen vorstelen. Die Hauptstadte sind Koper(Slowenien) und Pazin(Kroatien).Es ist historisch gesehen eine slowenische Region. Die Einheimische Istriens sprechen ein Dialekt der eine Mischung aus Slowenisch,Italienisch und auch ein bischen Kroatisch ist. Es gibt auch eine italienische Minderheit die dort lebt. Aber es hat eine speziele Aussprache. Die Bevohner leben meistens am land in innern der Halbinsel, auf Bauernhoffern. Viele Menschen machen Wein, meistens Rot-wein. Ich finde das der istrische Simbol der Esel ist. Weil da gibe es viele von denen. Der slowenische Teil ist auch bekant bei seinen Salz Feldern. Das Salz ist jetzt nur auf 'nen kleinen Teil, der einmals gigantischen Salzfeldern,produziert.Das andere ist jetzt ein Park von internationale Bedeutung, weil dort so viele verschiedene Vogelsorten ruhen, es ist unter Ramsar schutz, und ich denke das auch unter Unesco! Der slowenische Teil hat auch die hohsten Felsen an der Adria Kueste. Aber dort gibt es auch seh schoene Straende. Die schoensten Dinge an der Kueste Istriens sind die Stadte. Von Koper(SI),Piran(SI),Portorož(SI),Poreč(CRO),Novigrad(cro) bis Pula(CRO). Aber es gibt auch "Perlen" im Inneren der Halbinsel.

The Istrian peninsula is the the place where i almost every year go to sea! It lays at the Adriatic sea and is owned by Slovenia(north)and Croatia(south). However it still is a political issue between these two countries! So let me introduce it to you a bit! It's two capitals are Koper in Slovenia and Pazin in Croatia. The there is an Italian minority living in the region too! It was originally a slovene region, that's why the people ind.people speak a slovene dialect called Istrian.It's a mix of italian,slovene and een a bit croatian with a strong accent. The pfficial languages are Slovene,Croatia and Italian. There are many vineyards, and the farmers produce very good vine mostley red! I think that Istria is the region of donkeys! There are quite a lot of them! The people live mostley in rural areas on farms, and have that, well it seems quite relaxed life! Many also do fishing. The slovene part of Istria is known also by it's salt fields, at Piran bay! They were huge once, now salt is only produced in a smaller part. The rest of the "soline" is a park, which is of world importance, because of the many sorts of birds, who rest there. It's a Ramsar site,and i gues Unesco too. The slovene part has also got the highest cliffs at the Adriatic, but there are also beautifull beaches. The most beautifull things along Istrias coast are the towns! They are just gorgeous! Piran(SI),Koper(SI),Portorož(SI),Poreč(CRO),Novigrad(CRO) and Pula(CRO) are it's most beautifull coastal towns, however there are other "pearls" to find in the inner part of the peninsula, they are mostley built high on hills. Istria is worth a visit!
